With fresh Greek favourites, great service and reasonable prices, it’s no wonder this place is usually full every night of the week.

Zimari by Manos
Zimari is an outpost of Manos based in Janabiya Sqaure. It is a neighbourhood Greek bakery with homemade pastries and Greek staples made from family recipes. Pop in for breakfast or grab a takeaway for lunch. We love the Spinach and Feta Phyllo.

Lyra
Perched by the waters of Marassi Beach at the Vida hotel, Lyra offers a modern take on Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. It describes itself as being inspired by ‘modern Athens and the rustic courtyards of the Med’. Sit outside with views of the harbour and you could be easily be in Europe.

AGORA is a restaurant, bakery and deli in one, featuring fresh Greek favourites, with strong reviews and consistent quality. Known for hearty portions and rich flavours AGORA is one of the local top picks. Top tip: Order their dips on Talabat, their Tzatiki is one of the best in Bahrain.

OPA Bahrain
OPA stands out for its delicious food and fun party atmosphere. The Friday brunch is very popular and has traditional touches like plate-smashing, dancing and folk music. Located at the Royal Saray Resort, this venue is ideal for a memorable meal out.
